Greetings and welcome. My name is Juanita Triplett and I am beginning my third year as the Noxon K-12 School Counselor. This position has been fun and challenging and I look forward to coming to work each day.

I was born and raised in Eastern Montana and have been living in Sanders County for the past 21 years. While I love the mountains, I often miss the flat land and the sky of Eastern Montana. I received my BS in Sociology and Master's Degree in Guidance and Counseling from the University of Montana.

Since graduating with my Master's Degree in Guidance and Counseling in 1986, I have held several different positions in the mental health field. I also had the opportunity to work as a Home Start teacher and part time teacher aide in the past. I have enjoyed my position as Noxon's K-12 School counselor and look forward to assisting students achieve their academic, personal and occupational goals.

My position entails scheduling all 7-12 grade students and assuring that each student is on track for graduation. I also assist students on career/college planning. I handle scholarship and award opportunities, assist with financial aid questions, letter of recommendations, college visits, elementary classroom presentations, a senior advisor, and much much more.

I am also available for individual counseling for students referred by teachers, parents or self-referrals for a variety of reasons.
